Artcourt Gallery

ACG
Since Art Court Gallery opened its doors in Osaka in 2003, the gallery has conveyed Japanese contemporary art to the world. It focuses on members of the Gutai group and conceptual artists, who stood at the forefront of postwar Japanese art, as well as creators who have cultivated a unique aesthetic to expand and deepen new forms of crafts. In addition to supporting many artists’ activities by striving to place their works in the collections of museums and foundations all over the world, we are devoted to introducing the work of younger artists who will forge the future.

In recent years, Art Court Gallery has also captured the production and exhibition of artists’ works from a critical and historical perspective by researching documents and publishing monographs as a means of actively creating a link to the future. Moreover, the gallery has consistently conveyed outstanding Japanese contemporary art to a wide range of countries by supplying commissioned works for architectural or public spaces.
