Koto Fukagawa Edo Museum

Koto Fukagawa Edo Museum was established to promote and improve culture by exhibiting, collecting, and preserving materials related to the Edo period, and providing a place for the residents of Koto City to gather. It is a full-scale reproduction of the streets of Fukagawa Sagacho at the end of the Edo period (Tempo era), with sound and lighting effects to show the changes of the day, a "hands-on" exhibition room where visitors can actually go up to the stores and tenement houses and touch the tools of daily life, a small theater, and a lecture hall.
