The Hanzomon Museum is a cultural facility established by Shinnyoen to display its collection of Buddhist art to the public.

On the first basement floor, there is a permanent display of a seated statue of Dainichi Nyorai (an important cultural property), which is estimated to be by Unkei, and a relief carving of Gandhara Buddha. On the third floor is a theater where visitors can enjoy videos about Buddhism and culture and a hall where lectures are held.

We hope that the calm space will provide a place where visitors can quietly face Buddhist statues and paintings, experience the history and diversity of Buddhist culture, and relax for a while.
