Hirosawa Museum of Art

The museum was designed by internationally renowned architect Kengo Kuma.

The three gardens surrounding the building are named "Kiyora," "Homura," and "Shizima," and are collectively called "Tsukuha." Tsukuha is an old name for Tsukuba. It was named by Susumu Nakanishi, a leading researcher on the Manyoshu (the oldest anthology of Japanese poetry) and the originator of the era name “Reiwa.”

The Japanese garden by garden designer Chuichi Saito and the two gardens by landscape architect Shunsaku Miyagi are major attractions, along with the building designed by Kengo Kuma.
