Koganei City Hakenomori Art Museum
The museum opened in April 2006, following a donation from the Kenichi Nakamura Memorial Museum of Art Foundation. The museum's goal is to become a center for artistic and cultural activities of the citizens by providing an art museum with citizen participation and involvement, and by enhancing its educational programs. The museum changes exhibits about four times a year, and in addition to exhibitions of works in the museum's collection that introduce the works of Kenichi Nakamura, which form the basic collection, special exhibitions planned by the museum are held two to three times a year.
