The exhibition will feature a large number of ukiyo-e prints by two geniuses: Hokusai Katsushika, who influenced artists around the world with his high artistic ability and original ideas, and Honen Tsukioka, who was extremely popular from the end of the Edo period to the Meiji period when ukiyo-e was dying out and was regarded as the last ukiyo-e master.

The exhibition features 56 ukiyo-e prints by Katsushika and Tsukioka, including those by Tsukioka's teacher Kuniyoshi Utagawa, his brother and disciple Yoshiiku Utagawa, and his students Toshikata Mizuno and Kogyo Tsukioka. Twenty-five of these works are on display for the first time at the museum.
