Yoshizawa Garden Gallery is pleased to present an exhibition of doll artist Tazuko Hayano.
Hayano began creating dolls in 1954, using her 3-year-old daughter as a model, and in 1956, she won her first award. When her children grew up, she temporarily stopped creating but resumed after the birth of her grandchildren. For nearly 70 years, she has been creating dolls that vividly reflect the expressions of family members and animals. This exhibition will feature 250 dolls on display.
