In 2024, “Shibuya AXSH", a 23-story complex connecting the Shibuya and Aoyama areas, will be built in the east exit area of Shibuya Station. Artworks by eight contemporary artists selected by CADAN (Contemporary Art Dealers Association of Japan) will appear on the temporary enclosure of the construction site.

Tokyu, which is participating in the Shibuya 2-chome 17 Area Redevelopment Project, has been creating a lively atmosphere in the city by promoting the appeal of culture and art from around the world. The Shibuya 2-chome Art Project aims to serve as an inspiration to local residents, including office workers and students who commute to work and school every day, until the completion of Shibuya AXSH, a crossroads where Shibuya and Aoyama connect and where people and culture intermingle. The project aims to be an inspiration for office workers and students who commute to and from work and school every day, as well as local residents.
