This is a group exhibition organized by Shiseido Art House that began in 2015. This exhibition, the final installment of the "Second Kogei to Ourselves," will feature new works by Imaemon Imaizumi XIV (ceramics), Ihori Nakajo (lacquer), Yohei Yoshiba III (metalwork), and Masao Adachi (glass art), along with a presentation of tools for enjoying tea by Shihoko Fukumoto, who is internationally recognized for her indigo dyed textile works.
Another highlight of the exhibition will be the works created by the bond between the artists, nurtured over the course of the exhibition, as the paired members work together to create works for drinking, tea ceremonies, and dressing up.
Shiseido, which celebrated its 150th anniversary last year, has not only manufactured and sold cosmetics, but has also disseminated various aspects of culture, including art, literature, fashion, and food. This expresses Shiseido's desire to color life with culture and enrich them with beauty. The exhibition venue is filled with works of art that add color to daily life and bring joy to people's lives.
