Saeborg has been performing in which he expands his body with a latex bodysuit and dresses up as characters such as livestock. By playing these roles in the living world of farms and homes, he has revealed the relationships and structures of life.
This exhibition is composed of his representative works, Slaughterhouse, Pigpen, and Pootopia, which are all centered on the farm. He will then create a new world of "Enchanted Animals." At the exhibition, viewers dressed as livestock, wearing animal ears and tails, are invited into the farm world that spreads across the venue. They can lie down and relax in it. At times, they are induced to sing and moo loudly by the sounds coming from the farm and the sounds of livestock. The exhibition creates a theatrical space in which viewers themselves, as if under a spell, transform into livestock and perform, experiencing the innocent lives of livestock, discovering compassion as fellow living creatures, and discovering a liberated version of themselves. Through the various practices that unfold there, a world is created in which our own values and ways of living together with others are reshaped.
