From June 29 to September 28, Kotaro Nukaga (Tennoz) will host an exhibition titled "Rhizomatiks Beyond Perception" to celebrate the gallery's relocation.
Rhizomatiks, a creative collective led by Daito Manabe and Motoi Ishibashi, focuses on exploring new possibilities in technology and expression through experimental projects with a strong emphasis on research and development. This exhibition, their first large-scale show in a gallery, centers on the theme of "AI and Generative Art." It transforms the creative thinking process into art pieces, visualizing how AI models learn and generate new images. Additionally, the exhibition delves into the idea of freeing image creation from the biases imposed by the ethical and social norms embedded in AI services offered by big tech companies.
