aaplot will be hosting Raimu Sato's solo exhibition "still life with innocence" from April 11 to April 27, 2025. Raimu Sato is both a doll artist and sculptor.
She taught herself how to make ball-jointed dolls and studied at Tokyo Zokei University to learn figure sculpture. To deepen her understanding of the human body, she participated in a domestic study program at a medical school's anatomy laboratory. Sato has gained attention for her unique style that fuses human figure sculpture techniques with ball-jointed dolls. Although the exhibition is still a bit ahead, we look forward to welcoming you.
