This exhibition features recently acquired artwork, with a focus on modern and contemporary Japanese paintings, as well as contemporary calligraphy. The exhibition includes work donated in the fiscal year 2022, such as those by calligrapher Seito Takagi (1923–2017), a native of Soja City, and distinctive Japanese landscapes by painters Chikuhaku Suzuki (1918–2020) and Toshio Tabuchi (1941– ).
