Artists

Mitsuhiko Imamori
From a young age, Mitsuhiko Imamori has been fond of abundant nature, earning him the nickname "Nature Boy." He continues to live in the Satoyama area, maintaining his connection with nature. Imamori is renowned both domestically and internationally as a nature photographer and also receives high praise as a paper-cutting artist.

The lifelike creatures crafted with just a pair of scissors possess not only beauty and delicacy but also gentleness and strength. In this exhibition, visitors will encounter various paper-cut artworks featuring birds, insects, and other creatures, as well as insights into Imamori's lifestyle in the Satoyama.
