Literary Masters × Book Collection: Natsume Soseki, Fumiko Hayashi and Sakutaro Hagiwara

Mihoncho Honten
Finished
The Society of Publishing Arts, alongside skilled book cover and illustration artists, has crafted about 100 original paperback covers that aim to bridge three timeless masterpieces to the future. Through meticulous design and the use of high-quality paper, these covers unveil the enduring allure of Natsume Soseki's "Kokoro" (1914), Fumiko Hayashi's "A Wanderer's Notebook" (1930), and Sakutaro Hagiwara's "Cat Town" (1935). At the venue, visitors can also witness the evolution of the cover designs for these three works, including the first edition of "Kokoro."
