The wedding ceremony is perhaps the most spectacular ritual in life. Regardless of whether in the East or the West, wedding ceremonies are filled with feelings of prayer and joy.

This exhibition features garments and wedding decorations from the Edo period (1603-1867) to the early modern period (1868-1912) when Japanese wedding ceremonies were at their most beautiful and sophisticated.

First Period: October 8 - October 30
Second Period: November 1 - November 23
*There will be a major change of exhibits between the first and second periods.
