Finished

Artists

Toshiya Murakoshi, Yuko Nemoto
Since its opening, the Fukushima Prefectural Museum of Art has held the "Artists of Fukushima" and "Fukushima's New Generation" exhibitions to introduce artists born in or associated with Fukushima Prefecture, and in FY2021, the museum launched the "Fukushima Art Annual" series to introduce young artists who have been engaged in substantial creative activities in recent years.

This second exhibition introduces two artists: photographer Toshiya Murakoshi (born in 1980 in Sukagawa City, Fukushima Prefecture; currently resides in Tokyo) and ceramic artist Yuko Nemoto (born in 1984 in Sukagawa City, Fukushima Prefecture; currently resides in the same city). Nemoto creates wild dogs with her ceramics. Murakoshi captures scenes of the Fukushima landscape in consistent monochrome photographs.
