Beauty in the Home - Scandinavian Design Exhibition

Nihombashi Takashimaya 8F Hall
Finished
The beauty of the Scandinavian design is deeply rooted in the lifestyle and ideology of the Nordic countries. Since the end of the 19th century, the idea that "beauty enriches life" has spread throughout Scandinavia. Today, the region has achieved a high level of sustainability, gender equality, and diversity.

This exhibition explores the complete scope of the world-renowned Oda collection, which includes a wide range of items ranging from chairs and other furniture to interior accessories and tableware. In addition, the exhibition will also feature realistic reproductions of rooms, showing the use of lighting and the role of windows, as well as video footage of the daily lives of people living in Scandinavia.
