Kazuko Koike, the founder of Japan's first "alternative space," was a leading figure in the dawn of Japan's creative field from the 1960s onward as a copywriter, editor, and planner of design events, and has been active in the field of art since the 1980s.

The exhibition will be divided into two areas: the "meson" area and the "Sagacho" area. The "meson" area will introduce Koike's work as a creative director, copywriter, editor, translator, and founder of a global lifestyle brand, mainly focusing on archival materials. The "Sagacho" area will exhibit much valuable work from the artists who exhibited at "Sagacho Exhibit Space", which Koike established in 1983 and closed in 2000.

This exhibition is groundbreaking and original in that it focuses on the work of artists who embodied Koike's passion for contemporary art, and summarizes the work of Koike, who developed a platform that supported the expression of artists and creators from behind the scenes, transcending the realms of design, fashion, and advertising.
