Reborn-Art Festival is a brand new event where you can enjoy art, music, and food. Works created by contemporary artists both from Japan and overseas will be exhibited throughout Ishinomaki city center and Oshika Peninsula in cooperation with local residents. Alongside this there will be music events of various genres held, and foods prepared with local ingredients by famous chefs from Ishinomaki, the Tohoku region and further overseas, offering flavors that can only be tasted here.
While Tohoku goes through this period of rebirth, you have the unique opportunity to encounter new people and ideas that you wouldn’t find anywhere else. You might even discover a new aspect of yourself that you’ve not yet glimpsed. Reborn-Art is not just about the reconstruction of the Tohoku region, but also a festival that offers visitors a chance to be reborn.
