Sakiko Kurita
Sakiko Kurita takes photo snap shots and creates a collages situation of time and place populated by animals and people (including herself) rendered in oil painting or water colors. Reality and fantasy are woven together in a form which surpasses imagination and yet opens up memory, in which the still picture seems to take on the time based quality of moving image.
