Coinciding with the highly anticipated international contemporary art exhibition to be held this fall, the Yokohama Triennale 2008, we are hosting a total of 3 TAB Talks! We are moving it back to our familiar venue, Gotanda Sonic, making this last volume of the series accessible even for those who work in Tokyo and are stopping by on their way home.

During the first half of the talk, the world's fastest (!?) photo reports of the Yokohama Triennale 2008 will be presented by TABlog writers. The writers will share with their audience the highlights of this large-scale international exhibition, introducing the 3 main exhibition sites and other satellite venues scattered all over the city. Additionally, they will report on performance events that are planned to take place during the opening period.

The second half of the talk will see presentations by people involved in exhibitions and events held in Yokohama over the duration of the Yokohama Triennale 2008.

This last volume will be fully loaded with too-good-to-miss information, created specially for people thinking of taking this international event as a good opportunity to visit Yokohama.

The bilingual talk (Japanese/English) will last about 2 hours. Right after, we'll have a short segment called the 30-second Pitch. Several members of the audience will be invited to introduce themselves to the audience, promote a recent project, or announce a new product, website or company in under 30 seconds. If you're interested, please give your name and contact info at the reception table. Then for another hour, we'll have drinks, chatting, and networking among guests and audience members.
