Yoshitatsu Yanagihara
Yoshitatsu Yanagihara (1910–2004) was a prominent post-war Japanese sculptor known for his "Signpost" series and "Song of the Dog." The Yoshitatsu Yanagihara Memorial Museum of Art was established in 2003 at the Mie Prefectural Art Museum to honor Yanagihara's legacy. In 2024, marking 20 years since the artist's passing, a special exhibition will showcase the key works and explore the materials and techniques used, providing insights into Yanagihara's artistic endeavors.
