Mitsuo Aida
Born and raised in Ashikaga, a place rich in nature and history, calligrapher Mitsuo Aida (1924-1991) made this region his lifelong base for creative activities. His numerous works, including well-known pieces such as "Just Being There," "The Path," and "Even If You Stumble," continue to captivate many hearts. This exhibition, held in his hometown to commemorate the 100th anniversary of his birth, will reflect on the legacy Aida left as a calligrapher and poet, showcasing both his famous works and hidden gems.
