Wako Works of Art

Wako Works of Art was established in Hatsudai, Shinjuku in 1992. In the February of 2011, the gallery relocated to a new space in close proximity to Roppongi Hills and with expanded exhibition capacity. With focus on contemporary European artists such as Gerhard Richter and Wolfgang Tillmans, the gallery has been active in the introduction of works by important artists who have not been shown in Japan. In addition, the gallery sees to the translation and publication of critical texts and interviews pertaining to its represented artists.
