This art and event space was renovated from a movie theater that was closed about 30 years ago. Leaving as much of the original appearance as possible, the space has a ceiling height of over 5 meters with a large skylight, a screen of over 200 inches, and a vintage sound system. Being a former movie theater makes it a suitable space for screenings. Motoeigakan is a new venue for the presentation of rarely exhibited or viewed video art.
