Temple University, Japan Campus (TUJ) is the oldest and largest foreign university in Japan. Founded in 1982, TUJ has developed into a nationally recognized institution offering an extensive range of educational programs. TUJ is home to the Institute of Contemporary Asian Studies (ICAS), which provides lectures, seminars and discussions of issues related to Japanese culture, society and economics. Art and art history faculties and the campus gallery provide arts programming throughout the year.
