吉原治良さんの作品は数点しか観たことがなかったのですが、もっと多くの作品を見ることができる良い機会と思い期待して行ってきました。結論、期待を遥かに上回る充実した内容でした。三越さんのコンテンポラリーギャラリーの展示は何度も観てきましたが、これまでで一番力が入った展示ではないでしょうか。吉原治良さんのことも、GUTAI=具体美術協会についてほとんど知識がない私でも十分楽しめました。以下、お勧めポイントです。
◎美術館では観たことのない吉原治良さんの作品を観ることができます
今回作品を出展されているhatonomori artさんは吉原治良さんの遺品整理に携わった関係で様々な作品をお持ちのようです。もっと吉原さんの画業を詳しく知りたくなりました。
◎GUTAIについての詳細な資料『戦後の日本の前衛美術集団「GUTAI」のDNA』を無料で頂けます
A3両面の2色刷りの資料です。GUTAIについて活動の変遷、作家の紹介、相関関係などを分かりやすいイラストと完結な文章でまとめた素晴らしい資料です。販売されていてもおかしくない完成度です。配置のデザインも素晴らしい。この資料を片手に作品を観ることでGUTAIについて理解が深まったように思います。
◎GUTAIの作家さんの個性あふれる作品を間近で鑑賞できます
キネティックアートなどもあります。GUTAIは日本より海外での評価が高く作品が海外に流出しているそうです。また出会えるかわかりませんので、この機会にご紹介した資料を見ながら作品と作家さんを紐付けながら楽しんでください。
◎鮮やかで迫力のある白髪一雄さんの作品を観ることができます
茶道具のコーナー側の壁に掛かっています。美術館にあってもおかしくない作品です。お見逃しなく。
◎GUTAIと作家さん達を愛する画廊の皆さんの解説が素晴らしい
私が伺った時は画廊の方々がいらして、声をかけて解説してくださいました。GUTAIと作家さんたちを知って欲しいという気持ちがあふれていて、とても感動しました。
◎伊勢丹立川でも出展あり
規模は分かりませんが、こちらでも9月10日からGUTAIの展示があるそうです。hatonomoti artさんのHP等で確認できそうです。
