Gallery Ueda is hosting a new exhibition featuring still-life painter Yusaku Takeda.

Born in Yamagata Prefecture in 1989, Takeda completed his studies at the Graduate School of Education at Yokohama National University. Since his first solo exhibition in 2020, he has steadily built his reputation through exhibitions at galleries and department stores both domestically and internationally. He has been featured in "Monthly Art Collectors" with a special feature titled "Complete Data on Sold-out Artists," and was selected for the "New Artist Award Debut" by "Monthly Bijutsu," attracting attention from many collectors.

Takeda's artworks focus on capturing the atmosphere and presence of objects, allowing viewers to sense a gentle warmth of light. In this exhibition, he will display 15 oil paintings predominantly featuring still-life compositions.
