Yuko Kanatani
Yuko Kanatani creates geometric and organic patterns with vibrant colors. She works with various techniques, including painting, drawing, embroidery, animation, and installation. In addition to collaborations with fashion brands such as Nike, Etro, and Liberty, she has provided artwork for musicians and companies, showcasing a diverse range of activities.
In this exhibition, alongside new works, Kanatani presents pieces primarily created since 2019, attempting to reconstruct her evolving artistic style. The display features paintings that unfold into three-dimensional forms, typography inspired by alphabets, and embroidered kitchen tools, providing an opportunity to explore Kanatani's expressive world.
