Yoichi Ochiai
"Divine Duality: Sushi, Null, and the Eel Dragon in Edo's Cyclical Time and Space" explores Edo-period religious space through Ochiai's philosophy of digital nature and computational nature. The exhibition features sculptures representing the concept of "Null" in art, which parallels the Buddhist idea of "emptiness." Ochiai’s research into the history of Yaesu, Nihonbashi, and Kyobashi inspired the central works of the exhibition, blending Buddhist elements and digital aesthetics to challenge the dualities of time, space, and reality. The exhibition invites viewers to experience the intersection of Edo's cultural heritage and modern complexities through a unique artistic lens.
