Ueda Chronicle

Ueda City Museum of Art
Finished
The seeds of art sown by Kei Yamamoto are connected to pre-war movements such as Hakuyo Kurata's "Noa-kai" and post-war initiatives like Shikanosuke Oka's "Rokuen-kai," influencing many young artists and shaping the foundation of the current artistic and cultural scene in the Ueda and Koizumi regions.

This exhibition aims to introduce these developments through various artists and artworks, attempting to archive the local art history and preserve it for future generations.
