Tracing the Mongolian Invasion

Kyushu National Museum
Finished
After rapidly conquering Eurasia, the Mongol Empire sent forces to Japan twice during the Kamakura period (1185–1333). 750 years have passed since the first incursion into Japan in 1274. This exhibition traces the remains of these events, collectively called the Mongolian Invasion, while introducing some ongoing research into its history.
