Touching and Appreciating Artー Workshop and Talk

3331 Arts Chiyoda
Finished

Artists

Yohei Nishimura, Takayuki Mitsushima
Is art something to be appreciated solely with the sense of sight? The "Sense of Touch and Art" series is an initiative to create opportunities to explore the world through the sense of touch in today's visually-dominated society. Through talks with experts in various fields and workshops by artists, this project aims to deepen understanding of the significance of creating and viewing artworks from a tactile perspective.

How does touching affect the appreciation of art? A workshop and cross-talk between specialists will explore the possibility of art appreciation through the sense of touch.
