Located on the basement floor of the Hilton Tokyo in Nishi-Shinjuku, Fuji Gallery Shinjuku is pleased to present Tomoko Ito’s exhibition “Vibes in the Air” from Friday, February 14, 2025, to Sunday, March 30, 2025.
Tomoko Ito’s oil paintings capture the beauty of objects that transform with the passage of time and the interplay of light and shadow. They use familiar motifs such as flowers, pinecones, glass vases and dancing figures. Her works, painted in harmonious tonal colour schemes, go beyond the depiction of the objects themselves, embracing the surrounding air, atmosphere, and even the unseen changes that occur within them.
