Ochill Kyoto presents the first solo exhibition by sculptor Tomohito Morita, featuring his “Perception Series” of abstract ceramic sculptures. This exhibition invites viewers to immerse themselves in objects and phenomena, offering a meditative experience.
By removing attached concepts and freeing objects from concrete meanings, the abstract forms lead to a purer sense of the world. The ceramic pieces, with their quiet, mineral-like presence, and the video create a space where stillness and motion coexist. In this intersection, viewers are invited to immerse themselves, experiencing a subtle shift in perception.
