This exhibition marks Tomohiro Inaba's second solo show at Yukikomizutani, featuring new works themed around animals such as bison, sheep, deer, and dogs, as well as introducing new pieces with human subjects. Inaba's narratives continue to evolve and expand.
Inaba creates sculptural artworks that invite viewers to imagine stories by consciously invoking "blank spaces." He believes that encouraging viewers to imagine the unseen is one of the roles of art, and his works stimulate the imagination through space. Inaba shapes his pieces by bending multiple iron wires repeatedly, akin to drawing in space, capturing moments where forms evolve, and inviting viewers to imagine their narratives.
