Tokyo Fashion Stride will present the first collaboration, a visual of the fashion brand Kanako Sakai's collection, interpreted and constructed by photographer Mayumi Hosokura, in the windows of the Shin-Marunouchi Building.
"Ghost (multi-layered)" is a work that expresses Hosokura's interest as an artist through the Kanako Sakai collection.
Kanako Sakai, the brand on which the project is based, is a brand characterized by its attention to fabrics and their texture. Mayumi Hosokura, who was inspired by the Kanako Sakai collection, has also shown a strong interest in the textures of film and photography in her past works.
