Anomaly will host the Toeko Tatsuno Exhibition from July 20 to September 7, featuring large canvas works from 1994 and various prints, including lithographs from 2011-2012. Tatsuno (1950-2014) was a prominent abstract expressionist painter from Nagano. Influenced by Andy Warhol and Robert Rauschenberg, Tatsuno started with silkscreen prints and evolved a unique style over the decades, incorporating geometric shapes and strong colors. Tatsuno produced over 100 print works alongside paintings, creating unique pictorial spaces inspired by real-world gravity. This exhibition offers insight into innovative work and lasting impact.
