Themed Exhibition - Recounting Stories

Notojima Glass Art Museum
Finished
Stories come in a variety of genres, from myths, folktales, fairy tales, fables, science fiction, and other imaginary worlds to small tales hidden in everyday life. In an age without writing, stories were left as a means of expression in the form of cave paintings and reliefs. This exhibition introduces the world of stories expressed in glass works by shaping motifs, carving and painting, and other means, mainly from the museum's contemporary collection.
