While introducing myriad linear expressions in contemporary art, this exhibition considers the endless possibilities of the line. Due to the rapid development of computer science, present-day art continues to expand into new areas of expression on a daily basis. At the same time, this development provides us with more opportunities to reexamine art from a historical perspective. In other words, the present sheds illuminates art of the past. While focusing on linear expressions in paintings and prints, this exhibition hopes to provide viewers with a chance to discover what has been already been accomplished in the rich and delicate world of art.
