Kibo Kodama
Born in Akitakata, Hiroshima, Kibo Kodama (1898-1971) emerged as a prominent figure in the Japanese painting scene during the Showa era. This exhibition offers an extensive look at Kodama's notable works, celebrated for their remarkable diversity. It also includes pieces by associated artists, such as the artist's mentor Gyokudo Kawai and close friend Shinsui Ito, providing a rich, multifaceted introduction to Kodama's artistic journey.
