Today, we are moving into new territories day by day. The virtual world is only expanding. In a world where we are not even allowed to stop, we are being deprived of time to think and sharpen our senses. At the beginning of a new year, let us take time to pause and reflect with a bowl of tea.
JAPANESE HYBRID ART, which PAKUPAKUAN advocates, has overcome various wars and natural disasters in history and has been incorporated into the genes of the artists gathered here today, and is manifested as the most advanced beauty of contemporary Japan. This year, too, we welcome you to the exhibition with a selection of the best works by up-and-coming artists.
This year’s theme draws inspiration from the Chinese zodiac sign of the Snake and focuses on Benzaiten, the goddess of wisdom, music, and prosperity.
