Takeshi Sato

We will be holding a new exhibition by Takeshi Sato, who uses paint rollers to paint colorful, dynamic works. The artist works in a wide range of fields, including original paintings at galleries, live paintings at events, and murals on buildings. 15 new works will be exhibited at this exhibition. You can see a variety of works, including powerful dragons and tigers painted on panels covered in gold leaf, which are symbols of prosperity and nobility, calm nature with pale colors and depth, and modern Buddhist paintings, which he has been actively challenging in recent years.

In addition, Takeshi Sato will create an artist room at the Park Hotel Tokyo (Shiodome), a popular art hotel, to coincide with this exhibition. This is a specialty of the hotel, where guests can decorate their rooms with art. It is scheduled to be completed in February 2025.

This exhibition is participating in the "Xmas Art Festa" event hosted by Ginza Galleries, a volunteer group of approximately 30 galleries in the Ginza area, in collaboration with Chuo Ward. There will be a free guided gallery tour, a dinner event with artists and gallerists, etc. Please check the event website for details.
