Yumeji Art Museum will hold an exhibition commemorating the 140th anniversary of Yumeji Takehisa's birth (1884-1934) and the 90th anniversary of his passing. This exhibition will trace Yumeji's life and showcase newly discovered works and new research.

The main venue for the exhibition will be the main building of the Yumeji Art Museum, with the Yumeji Birthplace Memorial Hall and Shonen Sanso as satellite venues. In addition to the works featured in the nationwide traveling exhibition, the Okayama exhibition will also include newly discovered and newly acquired travel sketches and numerous valuable collection pieces that will be exhibited for the first time. This exhibition offers a deeper appreciation of the world of Okayama-native Yumeji Takehisa.
