Takashi Nakajima
In the past, Takashi Nakajima has presented installations that attempt to reconstruct the relationship between the viewer and the atmosphere of the space itself through the reflection of light and shadows created by the presence of transparent stretch film, which is widely used as a packaging material.

Nakajima has consistently created works as an approach to the contact points of places where the boundaries of self/other, individual/public, and so on intersect, and to the relationships that are unconsciously transformed daily, which seem to pass by without a margin. In recent years, he has been using PP bands and stainless steel, materials that many people are familiar with in their daily lives, as well as stretch films, to develop works with a heightened sense of permanence.

In this exhibition, Nakajima plans to exhibit four objects, mainly installation works that embody the entanglement of thoughts and relationships, and reexamine them objectively. In addition, a living room-type talk event that approaches the artist's fetishism while introducing all of his past works up to the present and a daytime-only viewing event with dialogue will be held on August 19 to make the talk event more enjoyable.
