This exhibition will showcase the latest works of Takahiro Nakazawa, a local artist and printmaker associated with Higashine. The first half of the exhibition features the "Portraits With Corona" series. Influenced by various constraints imposed by the pandemic on his own experiences and those of people around him, Nakazawa has created portraits of notable figures and daily news topics, each depicted on a single card. Upon passing through the torii gate adorned with red birds, visitors will encounter a display of all 1,000 portraits covering an entire wall, expressing his reflections on the challenges faced during the pandemic.

In the second half, the "Portraits of Love" series includes approximately 35 flat works with comments written by the models themselves, displayed alongside items associated with the models. New works portraying three local citizens of Higashine, selected through a public recruitment process for this exhibition, will also be unveiled for the first time.
