Taiwan, a neighboring country of Japan with deep historical ties. During the period of Japanese rule, not only did many technologies transfer, but also aspects of the Japanese spirit—such as the attitude and determination towards work—have been integrated into Taiwanese culture and continue to thrive. This exhibition aims to introduce the wonderful aspects of Taiwan while also reexamining the Japanese spirit outside Japan.

Hours	10:00-16:00 Closes at 17:00 on Saturdays, Sundays and Public holidays.
Closed	Monday If Monday is a national holiday or the 25th of the month, the museum will be open on Monday and closed the following day.

20 minute walk from Emmachi Station on the JR Sanin Main line; From Nijojo Station on the JR Sanin Main or Tozai subway line, take the #55 Kyoto city bus and get off at Kitanotenmangu. The venue is 1 minute walk from there.
