T3 Photo Festival Tokyo is an international outdoor photography festival in Tokyo, now in its fifth edition since 2017. It takes place in the central areas of Yaesu, Nihonbashi, and Kyobashi, which were historically cultural centers but are often associated with office districts today. Despite this, they have a rich cultural heritage dating back to the Edo period and are known for their art galleries, antique dealers, and longstanding businesses.
The festival's goal is to turn these areas into an Asian hub for nurturing the next generation of photographic culture. It achieves this through exhibitions by renowned artists, public programs, and a student project in collaboration with 14 Japanese universities and art schools specializing in photography.
Venues: Tokyo Square Garden, Tokyo Midtown Yaesu, JR Tokyo Station (Outside the Yaesu Central Exit ticket gate, Gransta Yaesu), National Film Archive of Japan, Toda Building Construction Temporary Enclosure, Tokyo Tatemono Yaesu Building, Tokyo Tatemono Nihonbashi Building, Tokyo Tatemono Yaesu Nakadori Building, Daimaru Tokyo, Bag-Brillia Art Gallery- +2, art space kimura ASK?, 72Gallery, etc.
