Summer 2022 is an exhibition where artists, mainly from Akita, will deliver their voices of "anti-war" and "non-violence" amidst growing social unrest caused by recent events such as the COVID-19 global pandemic and the Russian invasion of Ukraine. This will be the first exhibition in Japan for many of the international artists scheduled to participate in this exhibition. During the exhibition, visitors can view artwork from Japan and abroad, and "newspapers" will be posted to deliver messages from people involved in the arts.
